Only back story I have, is stopped in at a friend's shop (Epic Ride) in Orangeville, ON, CAN after doing one of my favourite "races" the WOW (80-100km of road and trail - it was the grand daddy of modern gravel racing). He looked at my Brodie and said, we need to get you onto a new bike, so ordered the derkerf. He had lots of the parts on hand and gave me a great deal on the package. Bike came about 5 months later. I had wanted a Team ST but had to "settle" for this bike. 25 years of memories and fun on it.
