Bike is back....

Building it up as a drop bar, gravelish bike using 8 speed triple microshift shifters.

Stem was built by Paul brodie after some pleading.

Those bombers are great forks. The 80mm has 10mm of negative travel so when you sit on the bike it´s bbrackt lowers some. I would rock that fork.

Decided to get a set of gravel king ss for the tires and a 50 tooth big ring for road riding.

Just waiting for the bar tape.
A shorter stem will fit you better if using drop bars. You can ride on gravel w/ a flat bar btw. Most people are doing it now.

May switch back, just wanted to give drop bars a try.

Set up and distances are a bit shorter and higher than my road bike, so feel pretty good in the drops and able to get behind the seat if needed.

This is a relatively inexpensive experiment - microshift shifters and travel agents. Everything else I already had.

In anticipation of entering BOM here is an artistic impression of what it looks like.

Just finishing up changing back to a flat bar (thomson ti) and will add more pics shortly.
