Hi all,
I am currently setting up a 1996 Team Marin, and I'm aiming to replace a suspension fork (Manitou Mach 5, in good shape if anyone is interested).
My frame is size 19'' with a 150mm head tube. I assume I'd need at least 240mm of steerer tube length to accommodate the headset, a canti hanger and a stem. Please correct me if I'm wrong here. And if anyone knows how long the stock steerer tube was originally for 19'' Marins, please let me know.
The dream would be to source the original triple butted Rockstar fork as seen in the 1996 Marin catalogue.
However, I am not too picky here, so please offer other alternatives as well. See specs below.
I am in Finland and willing to pay shipping.
Specs:
* 26'' Triple Butted Spinner fork (preferably Marin branded)
* 1 1/8'' threadless
* 240mm of steerer tube
* 410mm axle to crown (suspension corrected)
Thanks!
