Grip issues sorted now thanks ;)

Really wanted dark blue. That's what I have now. In bar tape. Double wrap

So, not much progress this weekend,

I polished up the stays that I'd painted, sadly too dark to get decent photos but I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Pics please ! :D

Re: 1996 Saracen Kili, small update, 3rd October

That's just typical still not being able to find grips in dark blue but as long as the bar tape does the trick then i suppose that's all that matters eh! .

Yes the right colour indeed although to be honest white would of been the next color choice for grips .

Re:

That would have been too much white I think. About to order cables!

That's a bikes' worth of stuff then!

No. I need four

Re:

Wednesday evening update,

Got the cables and replacement for the broken Sram Powerlink today  So, time to start finishing the bike.
I decided on different brake levers, so fitted those along with the Avid V-Brakes. Used some lovely stainless bolts for the calipers, but 4mm as opposed to the usual 5mm allen key.

Also bolted on the XT front mech that actually goes where I want it to, without fouling bottle cage bosses

Apologies for poor photos  Taken in the kitchen! I was actually holding a torch for the second one
The things I do for you lot!

Tomorrow, I hope to do the brake cables, and fit the chain. I tell Mrs Muz to hold off washing the floor!
