It certainly did! I’m not quite in his league though as I’ve made a bloody mess of the chrome..

Seat post removal was certainly a pain... :roll:

As for the shine...well the forks & bars were a combo of good old elbow grease and MAAS polish, but by the time I got around to the frame I must admit I threw in the microcloth as the chrome in places was just too much of a mess, especially after the cherry red heating so I called in a favour from Allenchrome in Pocklington
