Ok, so far we’ve tried wd40, PlusGas, freezing & heating to cherry red, all the time using a slide hammer...

No joy... I’m gonna have cut/drill/ream the bastard out!

Nope... surgery planed for this afternoon.. not feeling confident though as there is 210mm of steel post in a 240mm seat tube, leaving me with a 30mm cutting stroke... it’s going to take forever. :facepalm:

Thought it was worth one more last ditch effort this morning, so I welded the post to piece of box steel, clamped that to the bench and heated up the seat tube, working from the bottom.. and she gave up the goods!
