Worksman sells for about 300 usd for a full new bike so usually go cheapish used, prefer the shape of their frames to the Kona although I am always a fan of extra tubes
A nice shot I got last night, with this kick ass 2000 Kaboom. It has some sweet parts, including a pair of Kona chrome 3 piece cranks, a ControlTech stubby stem and riser bar, XT M739 V-brakes, a black P2, Chris King headset, Phil Wood hubs, and Maxxis Hookworm tires, a very nice alternative to the WormDrive I'm considering for my Humu.
My friend Jay took probably the best photo of this bike recently, and I had to share it here.
I recently installed a Nitto Albatross B352AA heat treated aluminum handlebar, and changed the grips from orange ODI to classic black Ritchey. I love this change, the ergonomics are so much more comfortable, and it looks a bit better. I also swapped in a 45t Rocket Ring, meant for this 1/8" chain. It gives the bike just a little more pep, so I might hunt for an appropriate 44t chainring.
I also commissioned a custom frame bag, with orange details, from South City Stitchworks.
