My first Team Colours Klein, my first proper bike with front Suspension (barring a Delta V many moons ago), my first with more modern M950 XTR and my first with V Brakes.

This came to me pretty much finished but as always there’s details to attend too.

This is it currently, I’m going to change the crank for something mainly black, try some deathgrips, Klein grips and I need to fit a Klein V-Brakes adapter.

As always, if there’s a rigid fork out there do let me know.

another very pretty one!

hey hmm the V brake does not use the seat stay bridge cable guide. On a 91 Attitude I just bought it appears someone sawed off the bridge to make room for Magura brakes I will want to replace with period XT cantis. But maybe I should just put an earliest version Avid 1D V brake back there, in black finish, mixed witheh shimano M730 group and the Bullseye crank which came on the bike (pita to change back to square taper now!)

Tricky one, such a shame someone cut it off. What about those cable hanger things that connect to the seat bolt clamp. Don’t know their name but one of them would mean you could put canti’s on?

yes I ordered one of those hangers and I have already bought a full set of m730 cantilevers, but I fear it will put the cable at a sharp angle. V brake would solve that, though V brakes are from 1996-on iirc.

I’ve got this kicking about if it’d work nicely? Was going to keep it as it’s such a nice simple retro way of doing it but no current plans to use so let me know.
