I snapped up an interesting Yo a few months back.. It was stickered and painted in NY, but had actually been welded in MA.. It was one of the frames shipped from the FAT HQ to the new Serotta Digs..
The Sapphire Fade paint has never been one of my favourites, and to be fair it wasn't in the best of conditions either.. However, initially, I was just going to stick it together and ride the helloutta it.. Then I started looking around for a set of forks for it, and found myself shellacking out for a segmented set from the man himself at IgleBikes..
Pretty soon I realised I was going to take a while to get this build finished, especiallly paint matching the fork.. Then, I thought, hell, if I'm getting the fork done, I might as well get the frame done.. And get it painted different.. To a scheme I have always coveted..
This is where I am now.. A Shoe Box stacked with Trick, and a Frame, Fork & Stem getting the full works..
