Sorry, haven’t heard back from the paint shop yet, but will be going down again in the not too distant.
So, how has the bike been - it’s been pretty damn good if I am honest. I’ve done about 250km on it in the last 3 weeks or so, and “it” hasn’t missed a beat. I on the other hand, am an oaf, and bent my seatpost, after missing the minimum insert markings - this isn’t too much of a bother if I am honest, as I have put a 400mm post on it now.
I’ve just got some wheels to pull together for it now. I have gone with;
- Chris King Classic Hubs
- Velocity Chukker Rims
- Spokes et al TBC once the rims arrive
- XT 10-Spd cassette (to order, however, I need to get some bigger gears I think) I currently have HG500-10 (32T-11T), but would love a bit of a bigger AND smaller gear. Any suggestions on this would be appreciated.
