Dirt Disciple
[img]1994 Marin Team Marin w/ Biopace and WTB Enduro Raptor 47/54 for sale.

Fully double butted Tange Ultimate Superlight MTB frame- Superlight and super strong. 21 speeds

20.5" Frame- I am 5'8" and it fits me beautifully, although its probably meant for someone taller. With the addition of risers it allows for an upright position, and I remove them for racing. It of course has age-related wear

Brilliant as a mountain bike and as a tourer!
includes WTB Enduro Raptor 47/54 tyres which are simply brilliant. I need to sell this and all my other stuff ASAP.

I am located just outside of Leamington Spa. I am happy to post this provided you arrange for posting and pay the costs.

Manitou forks.
Brilliant Biopace crankset

It was released in 1994 and costs $1,800 brand new.
Asking £250 for a frame, fork, and everything in the pictures except the old Brooks. I will attache a different saddle upon sale

I am moving house and need to sell my bikes and guitars, amps cameras and lenses. Only selling to raise relocation funds, and once my checks roll in I will repurchase all of these items and what I am sure will be a great loss for me![/img]

Re:

As pops says, it's not a Team... cable stops and the rack mounts are a give away.

Gear cable guides are in the wrong place for it to be a Team Marin bud.
I'm just going by what it says on the bike. :p I am sure the cables have moved over the years but all the cable guides are where they should be. It is indeed a Team Marin

Re:

With the greatest respect.. Team frames have cable stops welded to the head tube, your frame has them on the downtube. Also '94 Marin frames have smaller, squarer rear drop outs. My guess is it is a 92/93 frame that has been sprayed and decalled up as a Team. The serial number on the bb shell will identify the exact year and model bud.

Re:

If the cranks belong to the bike from original guise, then it may be a pine mountain or eldridge from around 1992. Apart from that it's a non sympathetic rebuild

You can only go by catalogue specs but your in the wrong direction to start with, unfortunately. Misguided one could say. Any idea on seatpost size? That may help further with identification.

All the best.

Thanks for all the info gang
Frame number is
M110E0045

Let me know what that means :)

Re:

That may call it as a 1991 team, where the stays are on the down tube instead.

So, just may be a team but will have limited appeal. Def not 1992-95.

Possibly a bottom up restoration as the bigger frames are more desirable.

Cheers.
