1994 Norco Rampage

My NOS FSA headset didn't fit and the plastic seals disintegrated during the install attempt, so we snagged the Cane Creek off Ingola's winter Norco. Also brought the 127 mm spindle UN54 BB by mistake, so we didn't put one in yet 20250110_140129.jpg 20250110_140628.jpg 20250110_141041.jpg
We also struggled for a couple of hours with the stupid seat post. My 27.2 mm post would not fit so we tried his 27.2 and it did, but not with the clamp that came with the frame. It was squeezing the turd out of the top of the seat tube. Fresh grease in the rear too, with a bit of a setback involving mixed from his cassette getting mixed with mine for a while. We also had a problem with wrenches, every time one was put down, it would dissappear. Never to be found until the replacement tool was lost and we'd find the first one while hunting the second. Also, a fun visit at the pet store where the clerk thought we were more "together " than we are. But he wasn't wrong, the "Biggie" and "Small" matching beanies would be damned cute.

Pretty sure it takes a 27.0. Do you have one in your parts bin or do you need one? I have a few in my bin

Bike looks great with the black and those gumwall tires were a good choice

There's a post in there now that I thought was 27.2. I'll have to check with calipers later. Those tires are from a trash day Supercycle, and way too slick to stay, but I've got a nice set of old Specialized Ground Control and Master with tan walls that should work nicely
