what a lovely build. and what a lovely project.

Think i preferred it with the P2's than the Manitou fork.

 Thanks!

The P2's I have are 1-1/8" so they would have never made it onto the project. But i'm working on alternative stiffy forks. ;)

However, this build has been a tough one for me to get through. Yet another problem I've run into with the Race Face BB i just sourced! :(

moving on past the issue with the BB, i started cabling up the cockpit and the brakes.

i'm really loving the cable selection i made which really compliments the titanium. thought i'd try a little bit of contrast since i'm trying to stay away from using ano colours by using clear x-ray with white inner bits and white grips.

Frank....

Stunning build!!!
But it sounds to me like your true love is still in the shadows.

Would your true love happen to be a "TB" ? ;) ;) ;)

Again..I love the build.

Would love to get a late TB, welded in-house at RM, or an early T with wishbone rear stay. But those would be a really hard find. However, I am happy with my Merlin, as i lusted for one BITD as my friend owned one when i first started riding in the late 80s, early 90s. Of which he still owns.

anyway, getting back to my Merlin. Think I'll settled on this for the build…

some NOS RF rings and RF chainring bolts mounted to a set of Syncros Forged.
