Result

I've just scored some bargain Mag 21's for mine if they live up to their description on ebay.

Just going to have to get over a lifetime dislike of all things Rockshox :D

Will be avoiding oil forks from the 90s if I can help it, too unreliable

Did you get the mags then ended on ebay today for £12? :D

These ones ended for £37. May be SLs (but I'm not convinced), but they are described as being very good condition - certainly look to be and are complete with original box.

They were poorly listed so probably went under the radar for most. I only spotted them because I did a search for Rockshox and they had 20mins to go!

Re: 1994 GT Zaskar Aqua: Update on page 7

hi
i've got some gt forks in black from a 1996 outpost 175mm steerer, that are a bit long for my 98 zaskar. might be interested in a swap. if its not a personal question how long is yours!

Re: 1994 GT Zaskar Aqua: Update on page 7

Think i prefer the look of the straight blade aluminium forks ive got on my LE and have gone off the idea of a pair of bolagna's :?

....Anyway the bikes now a rolling chassis, and we had the rare occurrence of a sunny weekend so ive taken some pics of the bike outside

Re: 1994 GT Zaskar Aqua: Update on page 8, and its a beauty!

Whoever ends up finishing it, that's turning out to be a great looking bike.

Just out of interest; what made you decide to swap it for the BB frame?

Well il be leaving it in marks capable hands, i didnt like the colour it was too bright and bold for my liking and the other 94 zaskar i bought recently was the deciding point, i just prefer it. Plus i commute by bike alot and ride to mates houses etc so i have to leave it chained up and didnt want it to be desirable to theives.

...and i cant resist a nice ball burnished frame
