More updates coming shortly but for anyone dropping in now, I have been through and fixed all the images, now all hosted with Retrobike so hopefully, they will forever be available.
So, following on from my update last week when I polished it, I wasn't 100% happy with the finish, felt more like a tart up than a true refresh so I got some fine grade wirewool and took the frame back to a dull finish removing as many imperfections as I could. Following that, I polished with Brasso and then another polish with Pikes and it has come up far better than the first time.
Then I gave it a wipe down rub some IPA to clear any residue and decided it was time I applied my "new" decals I bought in 2016
I'd have to say, absolutely made up with how it look at the minute and really pushing me forward with the build. More in the coming days hopefully!
After another break in the longest quick rebuild in history, I finally have a fully working Zaskar again! All gears now selecting, front mech could be better but they are my achilles heel so I'll take just about shifting across all 3 rings as a win! Now to get out for a ride
