1993 Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt

ah forgot to mention my thanks to roc6839 for the assist on the NOS x-ray gripshifts for the build. ;)

Re:

got the cabling supplies i needed so started putting it all together. xtr grey outer, silver/white ferrule cap ends, translucent white cable liner for the top tube run, and a NOS silver avid rollamajig.

everything went smoothly until i got to the Joe's brakes. they proved to be a PITA to align the pads properly. spent the entire morning and i only managed to get the fronts working the way they should. but now i've read on Bikepro that i have the mixed profile front/rear arms reversed. reinforces my dislike for canti brakes as a whole.

Re:

Nice! IMO the blue levers stand out quite a bit. If you had gun metal / Ti coloured levers that really seal the deal

how i see it, it's like wearing a very conservative suit and finishing the outfit with a nice colourful tie! ;)

it's hard enough trying to find these levers, let alone a specific colour. :p

I hear ya! =)

Damn my indecisiveness!!!

Okay scored myself a set of NOS Mavic 230 TIB 32H rims. I'll be rebuilding the NukeProof ti hubs with these, no more excuses! ;)
