1993 Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt

no, not yet. if you've gone through the entire thread, lots of things i still need to address before that will happen. :(

I did go through every page, just thought since you started it 4 months ago it'd be done. Alas, a new project now looms for you, T-minus 5 days now is it?

yes it doesn't help that i have three other projects i'm concurrently working on. :p and now a fourth on the horizon.

as for this one, still need to rebuild the rear wheel, rebuild the fork and find a solution to my fork brace/front brake issue. :(

not had a chance to rebuild the fork yet. :(

i did however receive some nice goodies from Mr.Toad yest. :D

i think the set of silver Joe's canti brakes will adorn my Thunderbolt. not sure on the Grafton levers yet.

started work on rebuilding the rear wheel. swapped out the bad hoop and loosely laced in a NOS replacement. thanks to PeteC for the assist on the new hoop. ;) this after already sourcing a complete wheelset to get at some hoops, which now is of no real use to me.

also installed the set of Syncros COM on to the cranks which i hadn't gotten around to till now.

i've decided to pull out the Ti axles from a set of champaigne coloured Ritchey WCS pedals and swapping them into a set of more appropriate coloured blue/black versions that have CroMo axles.

Build is looking great, very classy.

Good choice the the Ritchey pedals as well. I'm a big fan of the WCS's!

the blue/black aren't WCS, just standard Ritchey affair. but i'm stealth upgrading them to be. ;)

believe WCS pedals only came in champaigne. :?
