A few months ago I was looking for a new project and my wife spotted this 93 Pine Mountain for sale, a price was agreed and collection arranged. It was getting dark when I picked up and although I could see the rust I was not unduly concerned. Sure the chain and front skewer was seized but the seat post moved and it was mostly original (handlebars and rear rim not original) so I was quiet happy with the whole thing.
However on closer examination in daylight, especially underside of the bottom bracket, I began to think I had bitten off more than I could chew and maybe this was beyond me. I had a few options as the group set was all there and cleaned up well I thought I could find a new frame and start again. At one point I considered sacrificing the frame from my 93 Eldridge Grade. I stripped measured and weighed it and couldn't find any difference between them.
I put it in the shed and tried to think about the options, in particular who I could get advice off regarding saving the frame. As it happens I know a couple of professionals who know about these things and after seeking their advice have decided to give it my best shot

Does anyone know the correct spoke length for the rear wheel? If anyone does I would appreciate it if you could let me know. Mavic M231 and DX hub.
