Last part to try out but it is really only an after thought cos I thought you don’t see many of these on Marins ..I just wanted to try out and see it is the Ringle Ti bolt seat collar with just the Allen key bolt for them race days lol…Ive been sorted out with a black one but if it doesn’t look they way I think it mite in black I will strip it and polish it to plain polished alloy..fingers cross it’ll look good if not I will go back to the original setup .

Just bought some blackwall smoke tyres for myself because of this thread so I’ll see how it looks.

Perhaps we should have a shiny-Marin only ride together

The all black chunky panaracers look really nice on Marins ..you’ll like them..I’m just waiting for the good weather to come back then I will get some nice photos..be nice to get some riding in I’ve not tried the bike out yet

i swapped all my alloy bottle cages for the more robust Titanium king cage. I’ve used these before and really like these

I managed yesterday to pop out for some quick photos. the bike wasn’t really set up for very well for photos but it wasn’t too bad for riding on the trails. I’ve only just today managed to change a couple of different parts I thought it needed. I’ve changed the saddle for a way more comfortable 1992 Selle San Marco Titano Titanium rail Saddle. I wasn’t really getting on with the Flite Saddle it felt way to hard. I’m also now using Shorter plain Controltech Ti Stix Barends which feel way better and look nicer in plain alloy. Photos with new parts updated later….

Just managed to have a quick sort out on the bike of parts I wanted to change after giving it its first outing last week

I’ve swapped out the Flite saddle for this way softer feeling Selle San Marco Titano Ti rail saddle I got of here and dropped the headset by taking the spacers out as they wasn’t needed and now using my old Scott shorty alloy titanium affect barends which feel way better and though I’d but them to good use With readjustment of the brake levers. Hopefully all these changes should be better
