1992 Specialized M2 - Help with Frame number

Wondered if someone can help. I have a 1992 Specialized M2 FS (apparently) and im trying to confirm if it really model by confirmation of the serial number. Frame number is 92T31736 - anyone have any experience of these frames and associated numbers? all help greatly appreciated.

It's probable a 93 looking at the serial number.. apparently the first number after the first letters is the date.. so it's either 83, 93, 2003, 2013..

I don't know about the rest of the number.
