1992 Rocky Mtn Blizzard - Bike auction find

I picked up what I think is a 1992 Rocky Mountain Blizzard at a local bike auction. Turns out the frame is too big for my wife, so I started to look into what I actually bought. Now I'm tempted to keep it but sadly only enough room for one in my shed.

Was hoping you guys could give me some advice on what this beauty would actually be worth and how much is original. By the paint scheme I'm pretty sure it's a 1992, but I've read on other posts that the 1991's came with the Syncros Powerlie forks. Most i've seen are black, where these are white. The frame is scratched and chipped, but structurally its sound. No dents or cracks that I can see.

Most of the components seem to be original and in good working order. There is a pin missing from the break levers (see photo) that I'm unsure a replacement part can be found. I'm not sure what the bars are, they look like generic black bars with a bit of corrosion. The seat post is black and generic too.

I'm going to tune and lube it up in the coming week(s) and see how she performs. Going to be a hard decision whether to sell or keep it instead of another one I picked up from a bike auction a few years ago—a 2001 Kona Muni-Mula.

Here is a full list of the components. Thanks for any and all advice.

The 92 Blizzards didn't come stock with the powerlite either, came with the Tange struts as the powerlite was fazed out/taken off market.. Seems to be a pretty good mix of original old parts and some "newer" one's..

Re:

Put the frame/forks/stem on ebay with international shipping and you'll get what its worth - I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Re:

That is the 1992 paintjob shown in the catalog, this is probably an early production 1992, the 1992s I have seen are all white with a black struts unlike the catalog. So i think you have a rare paint job, and white powerlites are super cool. If it fits I would keep and restore. It also has the aftermarket/later style stem as opposed to the rocky specific model with flat top cap.

Post up the serial number and search the rocky mountain thread to decode. ROcki Mnt may be along shortly to also help with that.

Interesting, I figured the white forks fit so well they must be the standard, but its hard to even find a photo of them on google. I will look for the serial number in the morning. Is there a data base you can search? Sorry for all the noob questions.

CTK - what do you suppose the frame/fork/stem would be valued at? Never occurred to me to break it down for sale.

Lovely find, I have a 93 Blizzard and love it. If you do split and are willing to sell the stem separately, I'd be interested in it.

Re:

Personally I think there's no competition - ditch the Kona :)
