1992 Rocky Mountain Blizzard

Finally completed this one today! It's definitely one of my favourite Blizzard paint jobs from the 90's. I ended up keeping it simple with a silver XT group and black Syncros parts. I also found a nice old Turbo saddle and some ODI grips to go with it too.

The only thing I might do later is replace some of the decals. But until then, onto the next project... :)

Very nice job,,love the real world parts, and lack of Purple Ano....
There's not too many Rockies that purple Ano would look good on
I think I've only seen it attempted on a Cirrus or Experience...oh, they did stock purple on the 94 Vertex, which was raw aluminum I think. That I'd be ok with.

I try to keep my builds pretty close to original spec, so other than some anodized RaceFace parts, you probably won't see too many aftermarket parts on my bikes. At least that's the plan for the next couple projects.

Nice bike! I like the mint decals on the white or black Rockies - may have something to do with my first mountain bike being a late 80's fusion in mint green.
Thanks!
I remember that mint Fusion...haven't seen one for years. There are a few of the old white ones from 88-89 still floating around.

I found a mint one - almost bought it, but I really loathed they U-brake it came with. Now if I could find one with canti's front and back....

Wow that looks amazing, the parts are all in such good shape. Incredibly close to the stock build too. I don't expect mine will come out looking that good.
