Nice build that. My original Prestige had those decals in orange. Mine was satin black. I like the grey a lot.

I used to often go on the bus to the local Orange dealer just to look at a silver/grey Clockwork they had on display. Such a great colour.

Note that the article referred to the bike as looking skinny and old fashioned… this in 1993!

I love the Prestige in that colourway.. sophisticated for the era. I have a purple / champagne one..

Funnily, Hinton is wearing a pair of Cannondale shorts that I also had, as they matched my Matt Grey Alu O
They had a double layer of fabric - the tougher silver/grey over the standard lycra on the outside of the legs - which was supposed to reduce abrasion in the event of an off.

Their claims were true - as I "offed" the O well and truly, waking up with a crowd around me. When I got home, I found I was actually free of abrasion where that double layer was - scuffed to bits everywhere else

Love a grey Orange, still see a few of the matt grey O’s around. Still ride the above beast!
The Prestige 92 in grey I have rarely seen for sale.. Thinking about it, probably the first one i have seen since collecting oranges. A real gem
