1992 Orange Clockwork

Retro Newbie
Gauging interest as thinking of selling my 92' Orange Clockwork. Running singlespeed at the mo', but have all the original kit and wheels. It's a 17" frame.

Frame and fork have been fully restored by Argus cycles in Bristol, and all stickers replaced with an original set, then laquered in place (unlike the original!).

Original spec is Suntour 3 x 8spd, with Mavic rims and suntour hubs. It has a 1" siler Chris King headset, silver Thomson seatpost, original stem and bars, plus a slightly shorter steel stem to come with it.

At the moment however, it's running single speed with a Middleburn Uno RS8, which would be a nice replacement for the Suntour cranks if you want to take it back to original spec. Also running silver Mavic crossrides at the moment, but original mavic rimmed wheels are in the garage. Got a pair of Carbon X forks, and a Thomson stem on there with risers too, so it's in a kind of hybrid-retro state.

I think the only non-retro thing that's on it or available in the garage is the tyres. My last set of old tyres were binned a few years ago as they were worn through on the side wall.

Anyway, I'm kind of open to offers on the lot, or just the retro stuff. Let me know if you want to see pics of current spec, and all the original bits and I'll take some and put them up here.

Forgot to mention the brakes!

Still have the original Suntour canti's, but running a set of XT V's from about 97/98ish on there at the moment.

.

Hi, i see your new to the forum, welcome :D
As per the rules you will need to put a price up for your bike and bits ;)

when you advertise you need to have a price chap or they deem it like ebay... touting for offers and remove the add

don't worry many newbies who join just to sell and never be seen again fall foul of this

if your not sure how much it's worth you can get some ideas from here

http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... start=2925

you have more chance if a picture is put in thier too

also ebay completed sales are another place to see what the market values them at too

good luck

edit..granny beat me too it

Ok, then i'll say £300 for the bike in original spec. Seeing as the restoration cost £200.

Not that new to the site, joined in '09. Just new to selling stuff on here. But thanks anyway.

Will take some decent pics and post them up, all the ones I have aren't that great.
