Finally getting round to selling my 1992 Marin Muirwoods, which I've not used a great deal, although did put some skinny tyres on it a few months back to see how it went!
It's in very good condition considering the age - mechanically all sound, apart from the brakes which just need the pads (is that what you call them?) adjusting to sit properly. I was amazed that after probably 10 years of not riding it, put a bit of oil on the chain, and the gears changed perfectly, unlike most of my newer bikes!
Been garaged all its life, and apart from the grips, all original; thought the tyres might be too, but having seen photos of other ones, that might not be the case, so I'm saying not.
There are a few scratches here and there, the only major ones though being underneath the down tube, resulting from the cables rubbing when it was on my roof rack. Photo on the Flickr album showing that. Various bits of rust here and there, but only significant being on rear reflector bracket, which you'll probably want to remove anyway, but I'm leaving on for originality.
Had it from new, and (yes, very sad), but I've even got the original Owners Manual, in its protective plastic case!!
