Recently? I thought that Trek and LeMond had fallen out ages ago big style due to Greg's no holds barred accusations of Armstrong and doping in cycling... Indeed, wasn't it largely to what Greg and some others have had to say that has led to the current investigation into Armstrong's career and charges of doping?
I'd love to meet the man himself (and get a massive poster signed) - something tells me that with all that lead poisoning rumaging around his body, he's a guy that you'd want to meet sooner rather than later before the opportunity goes.

My friend died 6 years ago next week, so it would have been early spring 5 years ago, just before Jim Ochowicz and his cronies dragged up the childhood sexual abuse issues Greg had kept under wraps to try and shut him up and the whole Trek-Lemond relationship soured.
Fingers crossed - I've just got an email back from someone at Lemond Fitness that knows him!
I've asked him to forward on my email, and hopefully, I can either find out about a public appearance in the UK, or FedEx a poster somewhere to the US and have the man sign and get it back... Would look uber-cool on the boardroom wall!
I don't know why channels like ITV over here, which broadcast some great programmes about the TdF don't ask him to come over and commentate/comment on the current Tour - a bit like McEnroe does for Wimbledon every year - I've got a feeling he'd be great, outspoken and totally listenable! I'm sure he's kept in the loop about current riders, and could probably tell you as much about Cav and Wiggo as he could about Indurain and Pantani....
