Regarding paint, I got a quote locally for 700€ and leeway of completion some time around early February. If worst comes to worst, I will do a semi-automotive 2k, 4-stage rattle can job. So until that day maybe comes, I will shift focus primarily on parts acquisition. This thread will basically be the tear down, rebuild thread too. Mahalo for suggestions regarding paint!

I´m afraid I´m also in the camp of tidying up the parts and leaving the paint like it is. But I also couldn´t bring myself to thrash a freshly painted bike.
But anyway, I´m looking forward how this develops.
