1992 FUNK Combat Titanium - The elitist Elevated Unicorn Owners Club

Yeah something like that! From what the previous owner said, they must have been made very exclusively and for very few people only!

Which "doom" do you mean? I have heard at some point that FUNK basically collapsed because of too many complaints or claims. Is that true or some kind of fake news?

Super interesting! Funnily enough, I have one of those "shiny" plated suspension forks that caused all that downfall in my shop for months now. But its not mine - and I dont want it really. Although the guy wants to sell it.

Its just cool to see them first hand!

wow , every day is a school day as they say - had no idea a titanium funkeven existed.

a few alumnium frame versions have appeared on here in last fee seasons - including one with funk suspension forks , although not carbon IIRC.

will enjoy seeing build up process
re-quoting myself😂🤔…just read that an amazing article - thanks for sharing - I ride Moots YBB / Eriksen … would love to know if the fabrication collaboration suggeseted in the article for La Ruta came to anything?

Brilliant biographical article - am quite astounded by the ultra retrobike cool knowledge here.
To make a minor contribution to the thread there was a pink painted FUNK used to feature in early 1990s MBUK articles every now and then!

Yes they were original. But since they were nothing special or other than simple and ordinary white vinyl cuts I decided to remove and replace them.
