Looks better already! A few more tweaks n swaps and should look smart. Maybe a Flite or something to go with the slimness. I still feel like it looks taller than my 21" '92 Clockwork, headtube maybe. Saying that, it is hidden in a box again.

Cheers all. Got a Flite ready to go on so just need to decide on the rest of the build.

Option 1 is silver Suntour headset and crank set with silver seat post and possibly silver stem.

Option 2 is leave the XT headset, add a black XT seat post and XT crank set with black outer ring, use a black Stalk stem and go for a stealthy look. :?

I could go full Suntour as I have lots of lovely bits but I was saving the mint wheels for the Clockwork build. With that one I had planned to to a Shimano/Suntour mix using the very best kit I have so I don't think I want to mix this one up as well which means going down the full XT route I think, although a silver headset and seat post would suit this. :? :? :facepalm:

Managed to get the crank arm off so on with the build.

Question is, which stem? The silver is probably the most period correct but I plan to use a black XT seat post so the Stalk may be better for the stealth look? What do you lot think? :?

I prefer the black stem. Think the Decals match the ones on the frame quite well.
If you're going with black post then I'd go black stem too. Stealth black looks cool.

Or silver / silver & silver wheel rims.
