It’s a lovely bike but I think the ‘not NOS’ comments were based on the pictures and that the marks on the rear mech + scored seat tube make it look ridden. My pals and I had a discussion about it on WhatsApp before this post and came to the same conclusion.
If it if NOS you probably need some better pictures. Good luck with the sale.

but the bits what caught my nit picking eye is the build up of dirt on the rear mech jockey wheels and there's what looks like wear to the teeth on the big and middle chainrings and the dullness of the cassette i've had Nos ones and there normally gleaming. As for the wear on an xt seatpost, there paint is terrible and marks as soon as you move it (i'm sure cannondale painted them) so it's been moved a few times. Other thing would be good to see is the tops of the pedals because it doesn't take much to wear the paint on those.

I don't know the history of the bike but just going by the pictures, the chainrings have marks and oil build up, as does the rear mech and especially the jockey wheel, dirt and oil build up, also the headtube has wear from cable rub and the bolts and some other parts look like they were not dried properly after being washed. Looking at the bike as is though, it seems to be in very good condition and clearly doesn't look to have been used much, im sure whoever buys it will be very happy.
