1992 Breezer Lightning XTR

I like the look of them. I don't know much about frame building but I could imagine they also reduce flex in that section as they don't need slots in the stays and offer a wide support surface. But that's just my opinion.
Exactly that, they’re a really neat, strong and elegant design. Standard dropouts seem crude in comparison.

Yes, stronger and stiffer is the intention and provides a stronger rear triangle. Plus they look cool and are a little pantograph :D
