Originally planned for my wife but she prefers something more comfortable and practical. Therefore up for sale:
Plenty more pics here: http://fotos.mtb-news.de/s/80613
- Model year 1991, I think; it still has the longer seattube above the top tube.
- official size 19"; check photos for seattube size; I assume this size would be perfect for riders from 170cm-180cm.
- Original colour; very vibrant; the MC1 is silver polished and sold to me as NOS (however only 54cm width)
- Klein/Spinner fork
- no cracks, smooth integrated bottom bracket
- some scratches here and there, minor chain suck, tiny, shallow dent above the "p" one the drive side, a larger area of paint missing on the rear facing side of seattube; please see pics. Overall good condition, perfect for riding
- Gruppo is mixutre of XT (headset, pedals, STIs, crankarms, brakes, hubs, set of 3 skewers) and DX (the rest); I really think the silver DX mechs fit the color of the frame nicer than XT
- wheelset Mavic 231, XT hubs and skewers, very light tubes; nice Tioga Kevlar Psycho tires
- seatpost is ritchey, modern but classic look
- ODI Grips
- Turbo saddle in great condition (may be modern model)
For a quick sale, I would like (reduced) 550 EUR [approx. 425 GBP ] + shipping (reasonable!). Paypal gift, IBAN transaction or Paypal normal, if you pay the additional fees of 12 EUR.
Overall a nice bike, perfect for riding and an economy-friendly entry into the world of Klein bikes.
Thanks
