I got this as a bit of an impulse purchase, I almost bought one on here last year, the NOS frames but didn't. restrained! This looked like one of the NOS ones, still has a white size/model sticker on and clean paint though a few globs, so maybe its a seconds one, vendor thought it was old though.
As I got it in shed-parts-build, with DIY single speed, 17T cassette cog spacers, sawn off XTR M950 34t and tensioner, and a mix of original and added bits inc odd wheels.
rode it about for a bit but it skipped gear, frame is flexy which doesn't suit SS needs plus steering a bit sharp. So quick fix rebuild ideas evolved.
Naturally it got a bit fussier than quick cheap rebuild, and waiting on grips and swapping supplier meant another month on top, now I'm ready for Summ...er...!
