I have a 1990 Scott Boulder like yours, same frame size too .
I got the frame less wheels and fortunately found the Scott Seat post in some other rubble at the local transfer station. I count myself lucky to have it.
The only other I have seen locally was a gold and red S.\ Boulder on Trademe recently[2013] which sold for $61.00 [ a gift].
I am fitting black rims and gum walls but not sure of the rim profile.
The green paint has faded due to UV here and if you tune the bike upside down the original green is apparent.
Catalogues are printed a year in advance so you cannot always quote them as the bible. Your finished project looks superb and good pics.
I will check what my brakes are but I think they are the same as my Timberline Exage.
These were expensive bikes in their day. Specializwed being one of the dearer common US brands.
I need the frame and fork decals, have you come across any in your travels?
