1990 Rek Tek chromo

You'll see that angled canti hanger/stop on them wishbones on the dekerfs/rektek/rocky altitude of that year. That was his first official year as dekerf?

And the design is pretty much a dekerf in its outline. Which is a modification of the rocky blizzards really. Which were the other RekTeks we have on here?

I would just say that I would have thought it was 1990 or perhaps earlier due to the cables and u-brake?
Did you have the serial confirmed with dekerf. He still has all the build details, or at least did.

One minute there's a rektek thread...

hi FC
once again, only have what seller told me at this point.
he said it was a 1991. I emailed dekerf with serial number several times.
he never replied back. :(

after chatting with chris dekerf at swap meet and letting him know i had emailed
him several times over the years with no reply, he told me to try again and he'd
do a better job. he's such a nice guy to talk to. this is what i got from him. as you
see it was built in 1990 as FC thought. and is made from ritchey logic tubing.

great bike 🤩 , I have missed this thread earlier, just seen it in the BOTM vote.

Just a minor comment, maybe someone else told you already or you may have noticed it on your own, you have mixed the sides of the AccuTrax decals.
They do have different angel to fit to the lower end of the fork. The right side of the fork has the regular italic font, at the left side the font is leaning to the left.
