Yep, I am really surprised how it goes together with the rear mech, shape and colour-wise.
The reason I asked... I have done this in the past on an e-stay bike with italian BB, so I had to put there only ITA BB lying around and the Exage road chainset turned out to be perfect match. And later I never checked, how long was the axle and what would potentially be best length for 1x7/8 chainline with road crankset. Assume it would be about the same for all the common 7sp cranks, as they all needed same BB length (not that sure about the 8sp versions). Well, if you happened to know it, I'm interested just in case I would ever need to combine these parts again, but definitely no need to remove the crankset to measure haha.
Hopefully it will work nicely, without chain falling off the chainring - should be fine.
