1990 Kuwahara Gepard

Picked up this bike on last year.
Almost original condition with Shimano XT M735 grup set.
Interesting project for me.

Any idea the meaning ?

Sadly I don't have one, just the urge to get one.
No model in particular. Just liked the look of pretty much every 1980s - early 90s Kuwahara MTB that I've seen. I think it was a 1980s cascade that first caught my eye, there was a nice Savage in fluro green that I just missed out on a while back. Their road bikes from that era also look great.
Of course as a kid I lusted after their BMXs.

Definitely a bicycle company with soul.

Mid 80's model looks nice with frame lugs.
I also have a Kuwahara Aries which was produced in the mid 80s.
