199? Mongoose Amplifier

some progress made. not exactly as originally planned. but progress none the less. i'll use what i've managed to collected and if opportunity arises, maybe changes will occur in the future, but i'll be okay with it for now.
seatpost i've obtained is a Race Face XY. this is the third XY post in my collection now, the others being for the Cirrus and ETSX-70.
stem is logoless Control Tech, but at least it still has the Made in US decal. good nic otherwise, but it would have been nice if it had a bit of rise though. considering shifting the red ahead stem to the Cirrus, to add more red to it.
brakes will be M739 V's, thanks to Octsoc!
but i need a set of V levers still. I slapped on a set of M900 with hacked off shifter pods just to see what it would look like. how someone would hack the levers off, i do not know! :cry:
for mechs, i slapped on a old LX i have lying around just to SS it to take it for a quick spin. but i have a M900 now, and also a good nic M739 mech on it's way to me. i'm leaning towards the M739 to match the front mech as well as the groupset all XT.
and a nice set of Ritchey WCS Pro SPDs from ovlov440!

XT m739 rear mech came in, really nice condition and got it for super low price! cleaned up nicely and added a little splash of colour with the lower pulley since the rest of the build is very subdued.

arghh... black or silver post
opportunity to get a nice CT post to match the stem, but it's in black and i'm leaning heavily on silver.
stole a CT post from Jango's shot on his and photoshopped onto mine to see what it look like. still leaning towards silver... what do ppl think?
