Great! What model do you have? The ones with holes or jus round indents?

1st gen forged, exactly like yours. CB-6000 I think.

I will be using wide (28mm) Weimann rims, hope it helps aligning the brake pads.

Cool! Yea, from my experimenting I'm pretty sure these first generation ones require reallllly wide rims... Which is typically which all mountain bikes would have had in the mid-late 80's

Ok cool, I think with those rollers you have on the dale (same ones I have on my Merlin) super wide rims are required. I have super super wide Mavic ceramic hoops that I think I will have to use on my Merlin because of the roller cams I have. The other roller cams you have on your Merlin are newer so probably meant for narrower hoops. Thanks for all the help =)
I forgot to telle you that on my Merlin's brake, there's 2 positions for bolting the rollers on the arm, and it's really easier for narrow rims…

Hmmmm... Ok... Well, in a dilemma... The rear posts seem to be good, but the front ones are too far apart for these brakes... I may have to get another fork... I have a 1" Tange fork crown so I may get legs Mage for it and have the roller cam bosses fillet brazed onto them with the proper spacing... Hmm... Suggestions?

Get or make a wider cam. And/or look for brake pads with a longer post.

Hmmm.. you mean a wider plate?... that's actually a pretty good idea... but I'm not sure of the brakes will work properly...

Pads with longer posts may be the answer...

The pads on there are the NOS ones with threaded posts, can I use non threaded post ones in there?
