I have for sale a Marin Pine Mountain 1989, team colours, that I bought for my gf a month or so ago. However, the top tube is unfortunately too long for her.
Complete Deore XT group set (the 'normal' Pine Mountain had DX). Very low miles, really clean. All original components, except for tyres (Panaracer Smoke and Dart, new) and saddle.
Size: Seat tube (c-t) 42,5 cm, top tube (c-c) 56 cm
Some paint chips (especially on the stem/fork) from storage, a few of which have been touched up, but no dents, dings or cracks. The Deore XT seat post quick release skewer is missing on the pics, but will come with the bike!
The story behind the bike is as follows:
The bike was used in a couple of races in '89 by a woman who lived in San Fransisco. It was then retired and brought with her to Finland when she moved here in the early 90’s. Has always been stored inside, so the day glow / fluorescent colour is in excellent condition, almost no fading, which is quite rare. The colour way of the frame is fluorescent yellow/pink, which were reserved for the Marin Team riders. The original owner wasn’t a Marin team rider but got the bike straight from a factory shop.
