18" 1989 Fisher Procaliber... I think

My gateway back into retro mountainbikes after being on road and track bikes mostly for 20 years.

Unfortunately I need to move it on after I've acquired another project. It needs a respray or a very careful touch up and it also has some slightly unusual sizes for stem, seatpost (not that unusal at 26.8mm).

When it comes to move this on I'll sell as frame and orginal parts only.

Given the paint is seemingly orignal, I am wondering about something though. Frame number is '89. But catalogue says it should have a ultegra headset, but it has a 1 1/4 headset. But this is Gary Fisher, could it be he changes the spec after the catalogue? Could it be a (factory resprayed) Paragon?

+ It handles really well, I was shocked at how capable it is
+ orignal bars (63mm wide!) Stem and seat quick release and threadless bottom bracket (as per Klein and others
+ almost certain paint is orignal
+ Fisher Mountain Bike, pre buy outs

It appears to have the "Prestige Ping", according to a friend who was selling bikes in the early 90s. But does True Temper "ping"?

- evolution headset is gone
- bb has a slight bit of play
- Groupset pieced together from contemporary deore parts, but I intend to keep that

I just want it to go to a good home, but would like a little money to spend on the replacement Kona.

Hi, I could be interested as I'm a sucker for anything 1989. Where about are you based? . Also can you confirm the frame size please. Thanks.
