Only for Mrs Peachy to nearly recycle it thinking it was a washing detergent bottle!!!!!!!!!

Awesome. I wonder if I can get a Woolite bottle onto the Bianchi? ;)

   Not sure of the aero numbers of Woolite!

Re: 1989 Concorde Astore “Team America”

Popped a set of Campagnolo Xenon pedals on (after a full strip and deep clean of course)

This is just about as far as we can go till the correct indexed rear mech turns up… fingers crossed before the end of the month as it’s in RBotM and I would like to get the bar tape on!

Re: 1989 Concorde Astore “Team America”

Looking Fabulous :)
Don't worry about the RBotM as it is Lockdown Build month so it is all about the build so doesn't have to be finished :)

Re: 1989 Concorde Astore “Team America”

And it’s finished…… :D
Thanks to both AllenH & LGF, as the replacement 8 speed “Veloce” rear mech made a massive difference and combined with a replacement G-spring in the shifter all is as it should be… and just in time for RbotM…..
Jimmy has a PE lesson tomorrow afternoon, so that’s when the shake down ride will happen (if it’s not raining) and hopefully I’ll get some nice outdoor shots.

Glad you got the shifting sorted, Jimmy's a lucky lad!

Those new style campag cables are impressive. I used them with Veloce 10 on my Raleigh and found they made the shifting perceptibly slicker over the original cables that came with the groupset.

That bar tape is perfect, I've never seen it before but it's spot on for the livery.

Looking really fabulous and agree about the bar tape, just sets it off really special.
I am sure it will ride beautifully.

Cheers Dawg, tape was a lucky find on e-bay… does look good doesn’t it?

<stomps off>

I’ll take that from the Campag nay sayer! :D
Don’t worry LGF, you can get your indexed Shimano fix on the Colstar

I think it’s very pretty apart from.............

The black stem. Silver would look so much lighter in all ways. And match the post.
