Right color, right decals. I don't have the american flag.

Not quite. The database needs to be updated to include 1989 and 1990 as also having u-brakes.
And, I'd still like to know exactly how a German market intended bike ended up sold in California.
Probably a sample but I'd like to know for sure.

I just picked up a 1990 Specialized Rockhopper Sport (turquoise & purple color scheme) and I'm converting it into a singlespeed like the one pictured on this thread. I'm curious about crankset solutions to go from the stock triple to a chainline-correct single. I would also appreciate any information you have on the bottom bracket shell sizing. 68 or 73?
