no real tips I'm afraid - gunk or maybe jiff / cif - or a mildly abrasive car polish?

Came up ok, will be good enough and consistent with the build, clean and tidy but not mint mint.

Also good to see a survivor that is usable (once cleaned that is).

Great underrated bikes and lovely to ride.

You can get era correct dia comp cables on ebay from time to time.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
