All built up and out for a first ride. Still some snagging to do, the headset probably needs replacing and the front end could do with being a bit higher, but feels like a nice ride overall

Cheers. The seatpost is still stuck so I will deal with that sooner rather than later - mainly as the seat is a little low. This build has taxed my (limited) maintenance skills, I don't have a bike trade background and I trained at the "bodge it , hammer and scarper" school of DIY

Procrastination is a sign of greatness. I've decided to do nothing until I've ridden the bike more.

The worst bits have been treated with rust remover so should be ok for a while

That looks lovely. Love the VERYBURY'S on the downtube . Did you use Evapo-Rust to treat the frame? How did you find that? Looking to do the same on a frame I have.

Good luck shifting that seatpost, hopefully it'll come out without any damage, apart from the post itself.
