1988/9 Overbury's Pioneer

Got to get the silver one out first! It's still stuck, but luckily at the right height, so I'm going to build up and ride a bit before sinking more cashv into extraction and repaint
good idea ride first ! have fun on the Pioneering rides…hope you get seatpost sorted & have fun choosing new colour scheme I guess if it were mine I’d go yellow/blue fade as seen in MBUK - however really prefer solid colours…

I have the full slide kit here. Complete with taps and bolts. You saw off seat mount tap the tube and screw in bolt attached to end of slide. Very effective. Only had to resort to caustic on one occasion. Where are you?

I'm over in rossendale, East lancs West Yorkshire border. There's a guy in Chorley (the seatpost man) that can remove it for me, so I'll head over there once I've decided it's a keeper.

Hi this is a custom made kit from weeman on here. All bespoke and hefty not for the faint-hearted Three sizes of tap and insert to fit all posts.

That’s a lovely bit of kit, so need to get my lathe working so I can make one! My brothers just given me a frame with a stuck post and pretty certain it will come out with a bit of freezing and slide hammer action! 🤞

Checking in to see how this one comes along. Great score. Loved my Pioneer - wonderful riding frames

Not much progress to report, been sourcing bearings and bits and bobs for the build.

Amusingly, I got a call from the guy is bought the donor bike off asking if he could have it back. He got from a house clearance for a lady who'd had it in an outhouse for about 15 years.

A couple of days ago the bikes owner turned up asking for it back and was told it had been cleared out. Whoops!
