Re: 1987 Brodie ROMAX.... Welcome to club Romax... ooooh yeeaaaa
sooo... update... got her taken down to the bare frame...
Was able to get everything apart at ease except the bb... man.. oh man.... the drive side is in there good! it's a 68 so drive side is reversed... this i know incase anyone points it out
I loaded up the seat tube with anti-cease and it's now laying on it's side in hopes that it will be somewhat freed up tomorrow... :? If all else fails it will go down to the mechanics for him to get it out...
Don't mind that bin of old crummy forks...
So... here's the spot I'm at...
as I stated earlier, both my avalanche and the Romax have simmilar geometry... the avalanche came with a 26.8 which was loose in the top but snug below the junction... I have a 27.0 in there now that's snug in the top but very snug below the junction... but it should work
in the romax it's the same but with a 27.2 -27.0
Were these frames just supposed to be looser above the junction??? any suggestions?
I emailed Paul Brodie... hopefully he will have some advice...
