Here we go again, I can never resist a neglected classic
I picked this up from RBiker neuroportal who makes a dam fine blow your head off coffee and was very helpful with a few extra Shimano 600 bits.
I popped off an email to Rotrax and soon got a reply from Tim.
"Your frame is a "Shirley" model 72/72 deg. size 23 3/4" frame
built from Reynolds 501 SL tubing and finished in Brunswick Green"
Isn't it nice when life is made a little easier?
Its their lower end model, but I guess a lower end Rotrax beats most mid entry bikes
The plan now is for a proper paint job, I'm thinking Ivory, red lug lining, red cotton bar tape, new decals and amber wall tyres. Polish the Shimano 600 group to death and there we should have it
