As @Tsundere mentioned, this is one awesome thread! Love early Cannondale's. Fat frame tubes vs. skinny forks + roller cams make for awesome looking machines!

My second MTB was a 1990 SM500, which I purchased new and only owned for about 3 months before it was stolen .
I guess that is why I am addicted to them now.

Bubblegum pink.
I had it sprayed by a professional painter.
I think they mix the colors themselves.
I asked them to try to match the original Cannondale pink color from 1986-87.

Thanks! I still have it but I’ve been recently thinking about moving it on as I might need the cash for something else.

The artwork was done by my brother as he’s an illustrator.
