1986.5 Cannondale SM600

Installed the bottom bracket and roller cam calipers.
I'm stuck here until I get the wheels sorted out because I don't have a proper bike stand in my apartment right now.
I don't want to do the drive train until I get the wheels on.

The cheap axles I bought off ebay didn't fit my hubs
So I pulled these axles out of a set of Shimano DX hubs...they seem to fit

Almost there!
Just need to set the derailleurs/cables.

Hopefully, I'll be able to test her tomorrow .

Here's another picture I took this morning before work side by side with her mate.
Still need to hook up the derailleur cables and tune.
Should finish it up tonight .

Took her out last night for her maiden voyage...
Overall, rides well. Just need to adjust the brakes a little better.
Feels a little more aggressive that my other SM600.
I think the geometry was slightly changed on the 1986.5 model.
Also, as you can see the fork is a different design.

Will go for a gravel ride soon and take some daytime pictures.
